So Friday afternoon was spent crushing a whole bunch of soda cans. Three garbage bags' worth. Ugggh it was so boring....so tedious. I really don't like doing a lot of repetitive work. Yesterday Dad and I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple things. Then I went to the Dollar Tree, the one in our town. I got a basket with a few things in it. When I was finished, there was nobody at the registers. I stood at the front for at least 10 or 15 minutes waiting for someone to check me out. Nobody came. I looked around to see if there was anyone who worked there, but I couldn't see anyone. So I just quit waiting. I set my basket down and just left. It's a good thing I didn't need any of my stuff right at that moment! I love the Dollar Tree, but the one in my town...ugh. They really need to hire at least one other person. That's not the first time I had to wait for someone to check me out! I need to stop going to that store.
I'm not sure if we will do a whole lot today...we will see I guess.

thoughts:
- Sometimes I wish I were able to drive...then I wouldn't have to wait around for someone to take me somewhere! I really need to get my license.
- It's supposed to be really hot today. Upper 80s....ick I really don't like hot weather!

So today was kind of interesting. My mom and I went to Wal-Mart so she could get some pictures copied. She had put the original picture down to look at something, then forgot to pick it back up. She thought she'd lost the picture, so we were all around the store trying to look for the picture. We did find it eventually, so that was good. It was good that our Wal-Mart is a smaller one haha.
I crocheted a hat today. Maybe if it's cool enough tomorrow, I will wear it when I go out. I really need to do something with all the things I make. Maybe I should sell them. I wouldn't know how to go around that, though. I'm not good at those kind of things.

I finally got my background image to post. It's North Beach in Chesapeake Beach, MD. I miss that place. I hope I get to go again this summer.
